PICKERING V-15 Cartridge & Stylus, mounted to Pioneer headshell, as shown. Great plug and play unit here, if you have a Pioneer PL-series turntable with the stright graphite tonearm. Cartridge and stylus assembly were removed from a dead Pioneer PL-5 turntable which the customer did not want to repair. I would say the stylus has about 200 hours on it before it needs to be replaced, but it still sounds pretty good. The V-15 cartridge is quite similar to a Stanton 500 type cartridge, although I think the mounting bracket welded to the top of the case will prevent you from using a Stanton or generic replacement. However there are many places to get a new Pickering OEM replacement stylus (D-5-E, in this case) or a high quality generic replacement.
