Sony E 9000 ES Pre - Amplifier / Processor with Sony ST - SE 200 Tuner Package Deal ! Sony E9000 Pre/Pro Information: If you are looking at this pre-amp/processor then I assume that you are familiar with this series of Sony equipment. This unit was considered to be Sony's top-of-the-line unit. The unit was sent back to Sony and updated, at my request, before any problems occurred. This was done early in the unit's life. I'm just obsessive in that way. Please read the information in the above link, it will answer 99% of any questions you might have about the unit. A quick search via www.google.com will also help with additional hits. The pre/pro is in like new condition and includes the original RM-TP501E remote. Also, I will include a RM-AV3000 remote that controls the pre/pro and other components. Anyone that knows this pre/pro also knows that the original remote sucked-up batteries like we drink water, thus the reason I use the newer replacement remote. Both remotes are in perfect condition. The Sony 9000ES pre/pro also has a phono pre-amp that sounds fantastic. I used the phono section to listen to my somewhat large collection of LPs. I am selling this unit primarily because I have moved to self-powered loudspeakers which have XLR connectors. I don't want to introduce a DI box to convert the signal. Also, I now have a pre/pro with XLR outputs. Sony ST-SE200 Tuner Information: This is a basic, barebones tuner. No frills or bells and whistles. I have found the performance of this tuner to be very satisfactory. Although it does not capture very distant stations, the audio is pretty darn good. I listen to some FM music broadcasts but primarily used the tuner for AM listening. A good antenna does this tuner well and helps bring out much better quality, as with any tuner. Conditions: Please note that although the pre/pro and tuner are in perfect working and cosmetic condition, this is an AS IS sale.
