SONY SCPH-1001 PLAYSTATION CONSOLE. This unit has been updated and modified as per some techniques one can get from online DIY forums. I have removed the D.C. blocking caps and added some biPolar caps 20uf as per some constructive ideas on DIY forums for better audio CD playback. I also added more ventilation holes to help keep unit running cool and some damping pads inside to tune out potential internal vibrations. I also added on my own made spiked feet. Unit also includes the additional remote control receiving and sending units to allow you carefree operation from across the room. Finally a sprayed on multiple coats of flat black paint just to change it up and it looks pretty cool to my eyes. This unit works well and plays audio CDs very nice. It is the favourable by audio CD listeners SCPH-1001 which has the RCA jacks. It sounds good and even better by the mods I made to it. I find it has nice definition of instruments and vocals in the soundstage, it has nice bass depth and punch. It is a pretty decent lil CD player. It comes with its supplied power cord but you need to supply the RCA cables audio or A/V kit if you wish to hook it up. I no longer have a game controller for it as I use it as a CD player only since I moved to my PS2 for my gaming. But these things are cheap to find on eBay if yo wish to use it for gaming too. I will box it up very securely for shipping to the winning bidder. As per fact the unit is used it does not have a warranty but it does work and plays CD's well. Shipping costs are noted below.
