THIS IS A TONEARM HARNESS WITH THE VERY POPULAR FOUR PIN TETRAD CARTRIDGE PUSH ON PLUG WHEN/WHY IS THIS NEEDED Many high output cartridges have special plugs that push into the cartridge. To change to the popular--still available Tetrad type cartridge you must change the harness. Many tonearms with a Tetrad cartridge have this type of wire & it may becomes intermittent or the wires fall off. You know how easy those little fragile wire(s) fall off. You also know how hard it can be to solder the wires back on--impossible without melting the plug. This is a--"twisted"-- five wire --color coded tonearm wiring harness 16" in length. Four wires go to the pins on the plug & the fifth a yellow ground wire for the tonearm tube--some times needed. IT IS NEW OLD STOCK & USED IN MILLIONS OF TURNTABLES WORLDWIDE.
