This auction is for a complete Philips component stereo system - receiver plus all other components. They are:FT-1421 Stereo Receiver The heart of the system. Power output is approx. 70 watts per channel using 2 speakers, there are terminals for a second set of speakers as well as inputs for Phono, Tuner, CD, Tape, and Auxiliary.FT-1440 AM/FM Stereo Tuner Fully electronic tuner with bright green LED display. This was designed for use only with the FT-1421 receiver and therefore it connects via a special cable (included).FC-1412 Cassette Deck Single cassette with cue and review functions. LED record level meter.FP-140 Turntable A sleek, slim turntable featuring two speeds and an "ultra low mass tone arm".--------- It's rare that I ever come across four matching audio components like this, and rarer still that they're all in such excellent condition. All of the components have been fully tested (and in some cases, serviced) and are in perfect working condition. The only exception is the turntable; the stylus is gone and will need replacing (more info on that below). Otherwise the turntable is in perfect mechanical and electronic condition. All four components are in excellent cosmetic condition with only the lightest of wear at most. (Some buttons may have been a bit dirty when I took the photos so keep that in mind.). If the buyer prefers, I can omit the turntable and ship only the other three components. This would save some shipping cost. This is a fine, hard-to-find vintage stereo system from the mid-80's that is sure to please - don't miss out. Shipping info to be posted later this week. Please feel free to request better photos via Email; Ebay really made a mess of these ones. The originals are much larger and sharper. Thanks for looking, and please contact me if you have any questions.
